A district level kisan club of progressive farmers has been formed at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Hoshiarpur. Presently there are 40 members of the club. There is no membership fee for becoming member of this club. Monthly meeting of the club is being held on last Wednesday of every month. The time specific and relevant topics are discussed in these meetings under the expertise of this center. The meetings are also being held at the farm of any successful entrepreneurs who have achieved success in some areas so that the visiting farmers can see the socio-economic viability of the enterprise and benefit from experience of the farmers as seeing is believing. Exposure visits of the farmers are also conducted to small scale industries, kisan melas and other exhibitions.
